1. Install filter on cold water only. Do not use on water lines exceeding 100 degrees F (38 degrees C). Water pressure minimum is 25 psi and the maximum is 125 psi.
2. Protect unit from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Keep above 35 degrees F.
3. Avoid exposure of filter housing to torch.
4. Do not use pipe dope or similar compounds. They can ruin plastic. Use Teflon tape to seal pipe thread joints.
5. Keep unit clean with soap and water. Do not use spray cleaners or insecticides near unit.
6. Intended for indoor, non-commercial use only.
7. For extended periods of non-use turn the water off and remove the filter cartridge. Place the cartridge in a plastic bag, seal, and refrigerate.
8. Safety glasses must be worn during installation.
9. Tubing and hose dimensions are based on outside diameters (OD). For water line sizes other than those listed, consult a plumber or hardware store.
10. Before using the water, flush the new filter for 30 minutes.
11. Run drinking or cooking water for 5 - 7 seconds prior to collecting the water for use.
12. Change cartridge stated at manufacturer's suggested interval or sooner is you notice a change in color, taste or low water pressure.
13. Filter is not a water purifier and is not intended for use with contaminated water.
14. Comply with all state and local laws regarding the installation of water treatment devices.
15. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
16. The rubber O-ring provides the water tight seal between the cap and the housing. It is important that the O-ring be properly seated in the groove in the housing or a water leak could occur.
17. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter device are not necessarily in your water.
18. Use of ANY cartridge other than an Omni filter will void your warranty.
19. Replace tank O-ring with every second filter cartridge change.
20. DO NOT use wrench to tighten tank.
21. Use wrench ONLY for tank removal.
